About Us

Our genome possesses more than 20,000 genes for protein, and their combinations of expression can generate enormous space of gene expression.

We are trying to understand how the space of gene expression is controlled by transcription factors and chromatin-related proteins, switches and volume controllers of the genome. As model systems, we are working on hematopoiesis, immune cell responses, and cancer biology. We hope to translate discoveries to bed side.

Our primary mission also includes ttraining and education of younger generation at undergraduate and graduate levels through research opportunities.
